The MS310 scratching post is a modern scratching post that deliberately doesn't reveal itself as such – it is very delicate, minimalist and unobtrusive, seamlessly integrating into your home as a full-fledged piece of furniture. The cat scratching post combines a scratching surface, climbing element, and three resting areas in one, offering enough space for several cats to climb, play, and relax.

View and Security
The MS310 offers three resting areas on different levels – perfect for the panoramic views cats love. One of these is designed as a bed with a high rim: your cat can lean against it, feel protected, and still keep an eye on everything. The other two resting areas have no rim, allowing your cat to jump and play unhindered. This creates both protected and open areas at the same time.

The washable cushions made of cuddly faux fur and the dampening felt pads are securely attached with 3M adhesive dots and can be removed without residue. For the welfare of animals, we deliberately avoid using real fur for the cushions. 

Clever Insert System for the Scratching Surface
The scratching surface sits in a metal frame, into which it is simply inserted – firmly, securely, and without slipping. Two inlays are included in the scope of delivery: one made of felt and one made of sisal. This gives you free choice and allows you to adapt the scratching surface entirely to your cat's preferences.

Each inlay is reversible and features a scratching surface on both sides. A sturdy wooden core provides your cat with secure support when sharpening their claws. If one side is worn out, you simply turn the inlay over and use the second side – thus doubling its lifespan. Only when both sides are worn out do you use a new inlay: a simple, quick, and cost-effective replacement, entirely without tools.

The scratching surface is designed to match your cat's ergonomics. It is long and wide enough for your cat to stretch out to its full length while scratching – ideal especially for large cats. A slight overhang of the scratching surface over the resting area further aids them in climbing up.

STYA SYSTEM – Changing Adventures
Threads are incorporated into several places on the MS310 scratching post, into which all toys from the STYA SYSTEM can be screwed. This allows toys to be changed in an instant – for constant variety and against boredom. This way, the scratching post grows with your cat's preferences and remains consistently exciting.

Filigree Design
The MS310 has no defined front or back and can therefore be placed completely freely in the room – in the middle of the living room, against the wall, or as a room divider. A heavy base plate provides a secure stand and a pleasantly cool resting place in summer. High-quality powder-coated metal ensures an unobtrusive, valuable appearance that matches your decor.

Thanks to its delicate construction and deliberately minimalist design, the MS310 scratching post gently moves with your cat – similar to a real tree in nature, which yields slightly without losing stability. This lively sway is part of the concept and provides an authentic climbing experience. The scratching post always stands securely and is stable against tipping. If an even calmer standing behavior is preferred, the MS310 can also be fixed to the wall. For this purpose, we supply a specially developed wall mount that discreetly blends into the design and significantly reduces movement.

Why felt?
Our many years of experience with numerous cats show: cats love felt! It provides excellent grip for climbing and sharpening claws. Playing, romping, and climbing are even more fun – at the same time, the claws are protected, no snagging. Our specially developed felt is manufactured specifically for use as a scratching surface. Thermal compression provides the necessary hardness and ensures a secure hold – making the felt particularly robust and durable.

Durable instead of Disposable
As with all STYA products, wear parts are replaceable. The MS310 is therefore not a disposable product, but a full-fledged piece of furniture that lasts a cat's lifetime.
