The modern scratching post MS520 combines a scratching tree and a large lying surface in one compact piece of furniture – a cat tree with a clear design that fits even into small corners. The scratching post offers your cat a species-appropriate scratching opportunity for natural claw care and stress reduction, an elevated spot for observation, and a cozy lying surface for sleeping.

Compact for small corners – alone or as an addition
Not every room has space for a large cat tree. This scratching post requires little floor space and fills precisely those corners that have been rather unused until now. You can use it as a standalone cat furniture or specifically as an addition to an existing STYA climbing wall and a large scratching post. This way, your cat has an additional lying and playing area, and a well-thought-out cat landscape is created from individual elements.

Plenty of space for small and large cats
The generous lying surface offers enough space for small and large cats to stretch out. Even multiple cats can relax here cuddled together.
The special feature: You choose the cover yourself. In summer, the felt pad; in the cold season, the warming fur cushion – or simply whatever your cat prefers. The washable cushion made of cozy faux fur and the cushioning felt pad are securely in place thanks to 3M adhesive dots and can be removed without leaving any residue. We deliberately avoid real fur in our cushions for animal welfare reasons.

Play and security at the same time
An opening is integrated into the lying surface: for looking through, climbing through, and for playing with the movable toy or another cat – a feature that immediately sparks cats' curiosity and makes the MS520 scratching post particularly exciting.
The encircling rim of the lying surface serves as a backrest. Your cat can lean back comfortably, feels protected at the same time, and finds security – elevated, but safely enclosed.

Ergonomic scratching post
The scratching post is ergonomically shaped so that cats can grip it from the side – just like a tree branch in nature. The scratching surface consists of robust sisal, which is tightly wrapped around the metal pole.

The solid base plate gives the scratching post a secure, tip-proof stand – even when your cat brings momentum when jumping up or romping wildly. As a pleasant side effect, the metal plate stays cool on hot days and becomes a popular cooling lying spot on the floor in summer.
