The MS220 cat scratching post is a premium cat furniture piece. It doesn't present itself as a classic scratching post but integrates into your home as a full-fledged piece of furniture. Its elongated, staggered sleeping surfaces create space for stretching, climbing, and observing – allowing you to maintain your modern living ambiance.

Design Object & Room Divider in One
With its delicate strut structure, the MS220 looks like a sculpture and is perfect as a room divider between the living and dining areas. There is no front or back – the furniture stands freely and is an eye-catcher from every side. The light oak wood harmonizes beautifully with many parquet floors and blends warmly into modern interiors.

XXL Comfort for Large Cats like Maine Coon
All three sleeping surfaces are identical in size and intentionally generously dimensioned so that even large cat breeds can stretch out to their full length. Because the levels are staggered, both open viewing spots and sheltered retreats are created. This allows your cat to choose exactly the right spot, depending on its mood.

Thoughtful Design
The struts not only serve an aesthetic purpose but are also active play areas: your cat can reach through them and play. Additionally, you can attach any toy from the STYA SYSTEM to the underside of each sleeping surface, enticing your cat to play and hunt. Changing toys takes seconds – ensuring constant variety and preventing boredom. This allows the scratching post to continuously adapt to your cat's preferences and remain interesting for years.

The washable cushions made of cozy faux fur and the damping felt pads stay firmly in place thanks to 3M adhesive dots and can be removed without leaving any residue. We deliberately refrain from using real fur in the cushions for animal welfare reasons.

To prevent your cat from getting injured, the upper ends of the struts have protective caps.

The base plate made of powder-coated metal becomes a pleasantly cooling sleeping surface in summer and, together with its considerable weight, gives the furniture a secure, tip-resistant stand.

Clever Insert System for the Scratching Surface
The scratching surface is located in a metal frame into which it is simply inserted – firmly, securely, and without any slipping. Two inlays are included: one made of felt, one of sisal. This gives you free choice to tailor the scratching surface precisely to your cat's preferences.

Both inlays are reversible and have a scratching surface on each side. A sturdy wooden core inside gives your cat a secure grip when sharpening its claws. If one side is worn out, simply flip the inlay over and continue to use the back – doubling its lifespan. Only when both sides are worn out do you need a new inlay: a simple, quick, and inexpensive replacement that requires no tools.

The scratching surface is ergonomically designed for your cat. Its length and width are dimensioned so that your cat can fully stretch when scratching – a clear advantage, especially for large cats. A small overhang over the sleeping surface also helps them climb up.

Why Felt?
What years of experience with many cats teach us: Cats love felt! When climbing, they find a particularly good grip in it and can sharpen their claws wonderfully. This makes playing, romping, and climbing even more appealing – and at the same time protects their claws, as nothing gets caught. We develop and manufacture our felt specifically for use as a scratching surface. Through thermal compaction, it achieves the necessary hardness and thus a secure grip – making it particularly robust and resistant.

Durable Instead of Disposable
As with every STYA product, the wear parts can be replaced here too. The MS220 is therefore not a disposable product, but a full-fledged piece of furniture that will last a cat's lifetime.
